Mission

The Minor in Psychology aims to provide students from diverse academic disciplines with an understanding of psychological science grounded in critical thinking, ethical principles, and evidence-based practice.

Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs)

Graduates with a Minor in Psychology will:

• Explore core psychological theories, and research findings relevant to understanding and addressing human behavior across diverse settings.
• Apply psychological principles using ethical and evidence-based reasoning to academic, professional, and real-world situations.
• Evaluate psychological information and research critically, demonstrating cultural considerations and ethical responsibilities.
