PSY425 Adult Psychopathology

[3–0, 3 cr.]

In this course, students will examine the field of psychopathology, surveying the major psychological disorders and their classification, with a focus on recognizing symptoms of each. Students will also be introduced to evidence-based treatment approaches and ethical considerations in diagnosis and intervention. Critical thinking and application of theory to case examples are central to the learning experience.
