Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering
Overview
The Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at LAU trains students to act as problem solvers who specialize in all matters related to the electrical engineering discipline; consult businesses in the areas of organization structure, business communication and productivity; analyze and study feasibility of conventional and renewable energy systems; and analyze the reliability of engineering systems. Graduates go on to work in a variety of industries, including but not limited to electric utilities, transportation, telecommunications, electrical equipment manufacturing, conventional and renewable energy production, energy regulation, control, education and research, and robotics.
