Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering

Overview

The Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at LAU trains students to act as problem solvers who specialize in all matters related to the electrical engineering and computer engineering disciplines. Graduates go on to work in a variety of industries, including but not limited to electric utilities, electrical equipment manufacturing, conventional and renewable energy production, energy regulation, biomedical systems, embedded systems, sensing, signal processing,  control, telecommunications,  transportation, robotics, autonomous systems, software engineering, computer systems, digital systems, computer networks, and data science. Graduates are also primed to pursue graduate studies.
