PHY405 Statistical Mechanics

This course introduces the fundamental principles of statistical mechanics and their applications to a wide range of physical systems. It covers ensembles, partition functions, phase transitions, and critical phenomena, as well as the formulation of quantum statistics, ideal Bose and Fermi systems.
