PHA650AD Drug Information

This one-month elective Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) provides Pharm.D. students with the opportunity to be involved in retrieving and interpreting drug information and institutional drug policies. The rotation will enable the student to interact with other healthcare professionals in different settings, to assess and ensure the suitability and utility of the drug information provided to contribute to patients’ care. Students will also gain an understanding of the management practices of a drug information center and ensuring the safety of pharmacotherapy by providing timely and accurate recommendations.
