NUR319 Health & Illness Concepts II

In this course students gain knowledge of concepts associated with maternal, newborn, and reproductive health nursing care. The course provides information about gynecological conditions, sexuality, fetal development, prenatal and postnatal care of the mother and newborn. It also emphasizes on the role of the nurse in meeting the needs of the family.
Prerequisite: NUR211 Summer Nursing Internship I
Co-Requisite: NUR309 Pathophysiology for Nursing Practice
