ENG009 Remedial English

The course introduces academic reading and writing skills needed in various disciplines. It focuses on exposing students to general academic vocabulary, grammatical structures, and other rhetorical tools in context for a sufficient understanding of various academic texts. The course also introduces students to basic tasks required in academic learning, and integrates oral/aural skills.

Prerequisites: IEP003 Intensive English with a minimum of C or new EEE score of 102 or Equivalent*
