INE599I Industrial Engineering Applications in Services Industries

This is an introduction course for all engineering disciplines.  The course focuses on the application of Industrial Engineering tools and principles to improve the quality and productivity of service industries such as restaurants, banks, hotels, health care, etc. This course includes lecture, case studies as well as project.

Prerequisites: Fourth/Fifth year standing

Note: This course has not been taught since Fall 2021 and will not be taught during the academic year 2023-2024.
