HCM894O Research Project in Healthcare Management

This course provides students with the opportunity to conduct independent research on a current topic in the field of healthcare management. The course aims to develop students’ research skills, critical thinking abilities, and knowledge of healthcare management practices. Students will identify a research gap, formulate research questions and hypotheses, select appropriate research methodologies, gather and analyze data, and present their findings in a formal research report. The research project will focus on various aspects of healthcare management, including organizational leadership, healthcare policy, quality improvement, patient safety, and financial management.
