INAR421 Design Technology I
[3–0, 3 cr.]
This course explores the major principles of structural and non-structural components of a building (building structure, building envelope, ceiling, flooring, interior walls, openings, interior structures, staircases) and the various forms of application of these principles in the process of design. Students will learn the realization of construction elements and details in interior projects, while developing precise technical drawings.
Prerequisite: INAR201 Architectural Drawing, INAR331 Design Studio III
