This course incorporates the principles of stoichiometry, properties of gases, chemical equilibrium, aqueous equilibrium (acids and bases, buffers, titrations), thermodynamics (energy, enthalpy, thermochemistry, spontaneity, entropy, free energy), atomic structure, chemical bonding, liquids and solids, solutions.

Prerequisite: CHM101 General Chemistry, or equivalent
