Minor in English

Program Objectives

The Minor in English affords students basic training in the 3 options of the B.A. Program in English: literature, language, or professional creative writing. Especially the writing option makes our program unique to the region.

All three options enhance communication, critical thinking, and creativity. All of these skills are greatly needed in most careers nowadays. An English minor complements majors in the Humanities, Social Sciences, Communication Arts, Education, Arabic, Translation — and why not, Business.
