This one-month elective Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) provides Pharm.D. students the opportunity to contribute to the care of patients with rare and chronic conditions using biologics that are high-cost. Students will engage in patient-centered care, medication therapy and disease management, and collaboration with other health care providers. This will enhance their experience in interacting directly with patients and healthcare providers following the PPCP model.
