This one-month elective Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) provides the Pharm.D. students the opportunity to build on required learning experiences and refine skillsets needed in community pharmacy practice in the US. Students will have the opportunity to assist patients in navigating the complex healthcare system and participate in preventive care strategies as well as engage in management and leadership initiatives. Students are expected to implement the Pharmacist Patient Care Process (PPCP) model with a patient centered care approach.
