MGT836 Sustainability and ESG Strategy

This course introduces the principles and strategic foundations of sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) integration within organizations. It examines how firms incorporate ESG considerations into corporate strategy, operations, and long-term value creation. Students will explore tools used to assess ESG performance, conduct materiality analyses, and develop sustainability strategies aligned with global reporting standards. Through real-world cases and applied exercises, the course develops the analytical and strategic decision-making skills required to align profitability with purpose, manage stakeholder expectations, and create sustainable competitive advantage.
