Traditionally treated as distinct domains—entrepreneurship centered on venture creation, and innovation on product and process development within established firms—this course integrates both within a broader framework that includes corporate, social, and public-sector innovation. Emphasis is placed on the strategic, technological, and sustainability dimensions shaping contemporary entrepreneurial ecosystems. Students engage in research-informed discussions and experiential group projects designed to cultivate critical thinking, creativity, and strategic decision-making. Through research-informed discussions and experiential group projects, students develop competencies in opportunity recognition under uncertainty, resource orchestration, innovation design, business model development leading to capturing value. The course culminates in the design, valuation, and presentation of innovation-driven entrepreneurial projects, integrating analytical insight with practical execution through analysis, project pitching and competition.
