ITM312 Information Technology for Sustainability and ESG

This course examines the role of information technology in advancing sustainability and supporting environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals in organizations. It explores how digital technologies such as information systems, data platforms, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and enterprise applications can improve resource efficiency, transparency, decision-making, and sustainable business practices. Topics may include green IT, sustainable digital transformation, ESG reporting systems, smart operations, ethical technology use, and the strategic role of IT in creating long-term organizational and societal value.
