FIN408 Financial Modeling and Business Valuation

This course provides a practical and comprehensive introduction to financial modeling and business valuation. Students will develop hands-on skills in building financial models to analyze companies and assess intrinsic value. The course covers essential valuation methodologies, including Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) and Comparable Company Analysis (CCA). Students will learn to construct integrated financial statements, forecast key financial drivers, and apply sensitivity and scenario analyses to evaluate investment decisions. The course follows a project-based approach, ensuring that students gain real-world experience in valuation modeling.Prerequisite: FIN301 Managerial Finance
