ELE503 Analog Integrated Circuits

[3–0, 3 cr.]

The goal of this course is to study the principles, analysis, design, and simulation of analog integrated circuits. The course covers the fundamental building blocks of analog ICs, including operational amplifiers, switched-capacitor circuits, oscillators, phase-locked loops (PLLs), data converters, and bandgap references. The course will focus on the analysis and optimization of performance parameters including noise, linearity, feedback, and the effects of mismatches. Students will design, simulate, and verify a fundamental analog integrated circuit using industry-standard electronic design automation (EDA) tools.

Pre-requisites: ELE501 Microelectronics.
