CCA500 Interprofessional Collaboration and Communication

This co-curricular course prepares third-year professional pharmacy students to effectively collaborate and communicate within interprofessional healthcare teams. Students engage in co-curricular activities that emphasize teamwork, role clarification, conflict management, and patient-centered communication across disciplines. Experiences are designed to strengthen verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills in diverse healthcare settings. Students will reflect on their evolving roles within teams and their contributions to collaborative practice through structured portfolio entries. These activities complement experiential learning and require repeated engagement to build proficiency. Successful completion is contingent upon fulfillment of required activities and reflective assessments. This is a non-credit course graded on a P/NP basis.
Co-requisite: Professional Year 3 status
Pre-requisite: CCA300 and CCA400
