CCA300 Self-Awareness and Personal Development

This co-curricular course introduces first-year professional pharmacy students to foundational concepts of self-awareness and personal development as essential components of professional identity formation. Students engage in structured co-curricular activities designed to enhance insight into personal values, strengths, limitations, and behaviors. Emphasis is placed on reflective practice, goal setting, resilience, time management, and ethical awareness. Through guided reflection and portfolio documentation, students begin to cultivate habits of lifelong learning and self-assessment. Activities are conducted outside the formal curriculum and require multiple exposures to support progressive skill development. Successful completion requires documentation of required activities and reflective entries demonstrating growth. This is a non-credit course graded on a P/NP basis.
