ART352 Sculpture II

[1–4, 3 cr.]

This studio course involves the research and development of materials and processes to expand the student’s individual approach and method of expression in 3D production. Students will be introduced to different approaches to sculpture from traditional modes of expression to contemporary concepts and are encouraged to explore spatial factors and potential solutions to complex formal issues. Special emphasis is placed on the realization of free-standing sculptures in relation to specific site conditions and cultural contexts.

Prerequisite: ART351 Sculpture I or Instructor consent
