NUR321 Health and Illness Concepts II

[4–0, 4 cr.]

This is the second of three courses in which students learn concepts associated with an individual’s health and illness that require nursing care. Concepts discussed include development, peri-operative nursing, mobility, sensory perception, elimination, anxiety, mood dysregulation, infection, and health promotion.

Prerequisite: NUR310 Pathophysiology for Nursing Practice, NUR312 Pharmacology for Nursing Practice, NUR320 Health & Illness Concepts I, and PSY 234 Development across the lifespan

Co-requisites: NUR341 Core Nursing Practicum II and NUR342 Core Nursing Practicum III.
