Minor in Hospitality and Tourism Management
Program Outcomes
- Students will recognize the scope of the travel and tourism industry and its economic and cultural impact on local, national, and international markets;
- Increase the chances of student employability in many areas where their primary fields interact with Hospitality and Tourism in the employment spheres; and
- Prepare students for graduate work in hotels, restaurants, theme parks, food processing and travel and tourism-related industries.
Program Requirements
The minor in hospitality and tourism management requires a total of 18 credits distributed as follows:
