JSC499R Undergraduate Research

This capstone course focuses on delivering a publishable research paper in the field of journalism. Students are expected to engage in extensive and original research and critical analysis, using theories and methods. Students complete a research paper with the guidance of a supervisor and submit the paper for peer-review to an academic journal.

Prerequisite(s): Senior standing, JSC 312, JSC 236 or JSC 328
